I selected this book, because I was looking for something light and fun. I had just finished a really heavy book, that made me cry (a lot), and I need something fluffy. That said, I got just what I was looking for.
This is a cute romance, which is filled with many successful twenty somethings. I have not read the other books in the series, but that is not necessary, as the story stands on its own. This installment focuses on Miko, a sort of geeky designer, and Liam, her best friend's brother, whom she has admired from afar for over a year.
Miko is cute and quirky, and that comes across well in the story, and also adds a lot of humorous moments too. The group of friends and family are also pretty great and add to the fun. Although this book was enjoyable, it was slightly hampered by too many details. Sometimes, the details forced me to get off track in the story, and actually detracted from the story.
Overall: cute romance
