This is a sequel to Howls Moving Castle but is pretty much standalone (there are bits near the end that make more sense if you've read the previous story but a lot of it's inferred.

Abdullah is a carpet merchant and dreamer and one day a carpet allows him to visit the princess Flower-in-the-Night and they fall in love. While Abdullah makes plans for their elopment the princess is stolen by a Genie starting Abdullah on the adventure of a lifetime.

It's fun, enjoyable and light.
