I'm certain with every new book that comes out in this series, it'll be my favorite. I was wondering how Sara was going to top Jock Row, but she definitely did with Jock Rule.
So many points for this awesome book! One, I'm a rugby fan and New Zealand's All Black's team is my favorite, which is totally besides the point. But Sara had it down when literally very little people care about rugby in the U.S. Downright blasphemy if you ask me! So I was totally for the bearded brute who just happens to be Kip.
The warning that Sara gave me was to read this slowly. Do you know how hard that is to do?! I did my best to take her advice and managed to read it over a couple of days... Sorry, that was the best I could do. But I'm so glad that I did, it made the reading experience so much better. You really enjoy every single moment between Kip and Teddy and yes, there are so many amazing and hilarious moments you'll just absolutely love between them.
I really loved that this wasn't an insta-love, they gradually became friends in probably the most unique way. And I enjoyed every little bit of the growth of their relationship during the book.
There's really so much below the surface of Kip and Teddy. Teddy is such a shy, hardworking and loyal person. A bit of a doormat in the beginning, but my goodness does she bloom. All thanks to Kip for being totally honest with her and bringing her out of her shell. And Kip, a guy who has no tolerance for BS and doesn't mess around. And his relationship with his sister is the absolute best, love their text conversations so darn much!
Of course, Kip has his secrets too. And I get why he hid his true identity to many people. He wanted to pave his own path and not be known for his namesake.
Seriously, guys! There's so much to love about this story between the witty dialogue, the utmost swoon-worthy moments and just the feels as something more grows between them.
Sara Ney is easily one of my favorite authors out there! Her stories are always flawless and every chapter flows effortlessly into one other.
Absolutely can't wait for the next one!
