In celebrity-obsessed Timberwood Village, the great
warrior Riqa is an icon who’s about to throw the wedding of the century,
and local teens Darlis and Mae are just two humble dishwashers. Until, that is,
Riqa mysteriously disappears and a cosplaying Darlis is mistaken for her! It's
super flattering, until two troll siblings capture them for ransom. To get out
of this predicament, these dishwashers will have to get their hands a little
dirty. Armed with only their wits and Riqa’s book, The Fair Maiden’s
Guide to Eating Your Captor for Breakfast, can Darlis and Mae give their captors
a run for their money?

The Great Warrior and local celebrity, Riqa. Pursuing them are two troll
siblings hoping for the payday of a huge ransom to break out on their own. By
using their knowledge of Riqa’s book, The Fair Maiden’s Guide to
Eating Your Captor for Breakfast, Darlis and Mae give the trolls a run for their
money.
This was a nice graphic novel, but I felt it was a bit lacking. I loved the artwork a lot but the story was not as great as I hoped it would be. Maybe if there were more volumes, I would enjoy them a bit more.
