Unholy cow! This is possibly one of the darkest books I've ever had the pleasure of reading. I want to uncover all the plotting and the secrets of these three characters, never quite understanding what any of their agendas might be. Three characters with such dark depths that they may never fully be explored, inviting yet at the same time warning you to stay away. Olsen is a master wordsmith and I even found myself noticing moments of beauty within the dark. Yes, there's a cliffhanger, but surprisingly I didn't feel frustrated by it - it was more a natural pause in the story. I think I'm gonna need a few days to adjust before I move on to the next book, but move on I definitely will.
