"Babies are being born and children are coming home. Now that's what I call Christmas!"

I don't know how she does it but VanLiere makes every story better than the previous one!

The Christmas Promise follows multiple different people once again and you grow to care for each of them and want the best for them.
Chaz who is a young man who ran away from home several years ago and is now feeling lots and moving from town to town before he can get attached.

We have Gloria who is helping out multiple different people in the community who need it.

Miriam who is the grumpy neighbor.

Carla the single mom who is trying to make it, but struggling with bad relationships and keeping a job.

Gloria and Miriam have the typical neighbor squabble when one has stuff randomly appearing in there driveaway overnight. But Miriam doesn't know why Gloria does it and she doesn't care to learn either until she needs her as well due to a housing problem. As Miriam starts to learn why and the two bond though, Gloria takes in a pregnant young woman who needs her help and this starts changing things as well. Then we have Chaz who is now a security guard at a department store and is struggling with addiction and loneliness. Chaz is starting to care about this town, and some people in it very quickly mainly one of them being Donovan who is Carla's son. Carla has no steady babysitter and very little money meaning she has to take her son with her, but her boss can't know about it so she asks Chaz for help.

All of these people slowly interact with each other and realize they all need something from one another.

Overall I loved this story and it's my favorite one yet and I can't wait till next blogmas to continue on with this series!
