It's been six weeks since the angels of the apocalypse destroyed the world as we know it. Only pockets of humanity remain.

Savage street gangs rule the day while fear and superstition rule the night.

When angels fly away with a helpless girl, her seventeen-year-old sister Penryn will do anything to get her back.

Including making a deal with the enemy.

I loved this! I've had this book for over a year and I can't believe I hadn't read this sooner. I really, really enjoyed this book, I loved that even though angels were the paranormal beings this book revolved around religion wasn't thrust into your face. I'm dying to read book two and I'm sad to see book three won't be out for another whole year. So long to wait!
