There are some surprising twists in this issue. That is by no means a bad thing - there's a lot going on, and it feels like each and every member of the Avengers not only has their own plot arc, but are facing changes and threats on an individual level. It's an interesting call, one that makes the series feel busier. But I think it's paying off.

One thing I will note: knowing what is happening in Silver Surfer: Black would be slightly helpful for this issue. It's not a requirement, but it wouldn't hurt. Likewise, you could consider a bit of what happens here a spoiler for that series, so consider yourself warned.
