I received an advanced/review copy of this book. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content and honesty of my review.

I enjoyed this book. Astrid is slightly different from the majority of heroines I've read. She's shy but she's also not a pushover, which I loved. She's ambitious and is determined to do whatever it takes to follow her dreams--sometimes to the point of slightly crossing the line.

The guys are all pretty awesome in different ways, but they weren't the cookie cutter, oh-he's-so-hot-and-perfect type heroes either. They all have real problems and none are perfect. There's also a bit of a Breakfast Club nod at the end, which I absolutely loved since I'm a huge fan of the movie ;) There's also a major plot twist that kind of blew my mind. I thought I knew what direction it was going in and Blake totally went the opposite way, lol.
