I need to get my Dante gushing out of the way. His first scene in Bad Blood...SWOON! My heart! My...places lower than my heart! Seriously, that was hot. If Aurora doesn't want him after that, I will gladly step in! Of course, other than that, Dante is his usual goofy self, always making me smile. But then that ending! No! No! No! Why?! No, I'm not telling what happened! But I do need Hunting Season ASAP!
Bad Blood focuses a lot on how Aurora's life is falling to pieces. She's in college, not at the one she wants to be, but she's got that bit of normality at least. However, her living situation is not ideal. She and her housemate do not get along at all, but it's understandable. Although I was inwardly screaming "Tell her the truth!!!" most of the time. There's also the pesky matter of someone out for revenge on her and Valery. Events from Northern Bites are certainly coming back to bite them. Pun intended. I need to punch Melcher in the face, really hard! What is with that man?! Aahhh!
I really enjoyed Bad Blood. It's got everything I've come to love about this series, and the stakes just keep getting higher! I would highly recommend reading Stakeout and maybe Evil Red before this one, since these novellas fill in a few gaps. Although their contents are somewhat revealed in Bad Blood, it added some extra tension for me, since I knew something Aurora didn't and desperately wanted someone to tell her!
