Living with other "mechs" since her wealthy parents transplanted her brain into a mechanical body to prevent her from dying in a horrible accident, Lia becomes a pawn in a religious leader's movement to outlaw "mech" technology and eradicate machines such as Lia.
Another great installment in this story. I love Riley and Lia together - I think they complement each other really well. However, i did almost wish that Riley's back story had been a little more extreme; the set-up and suspense that came with waiting for him to tell his story was a lot for just the one thing. I still hate Jude. i think he's mislead, narrow-minded, and small. Maybe the third book will make me love him. However, I might have a litter of kittens if he ends up with Lia, because I secretly think that he wants her. I have the third book already, and I think I'm going to start it tonight. Excited!
