I've got to say, this book was a lot funnier than I expected it to be, which definitely made for a rather enjoyable read. After reading The Right Stud, I'm definitely a fan of this writing duo, so pleaseeeeeeee, give us more books! It was a funny and sweet read, a great summer beach read to add to your list.

Ashton wants nothing more than to fix up her grandmother's home in hopes of turning it into a bed & breakfast. Even though her baking skills are something to be envious of, her home renovation skills are the complete opposite. And Jax Roland is just the guy she needs to uh ... help fix up her home ;-)

Once she gets the email she's been waiting for and when he comes knocking on her door. She quickly realizes that this wasn't their first time meeting. The night before, in hopes of finding someone to help her forget about her cheating ex, it was nearly a fail until she bumps into a mystery man who she just happens to share a kiss with that'll forever be planted in her mind. After telling her he needed to run a quick errand, he asked her to wait (what an idiot he was, if you ask me). But after a couple of hours go by, he's nowhere to be found.

Jax is quite famous in the YouTube world for his home improvement show. Ashton's beach home renovation is just the project he needs to land a show on HGTV. Seeing Ashton was definitely something he never expected and he's never felt more regret after he recognizes her from the night before. He wants nothing more than to explain himself and get back into her good graces. Even though this project is something he has always wanted, seeing Ashton again, he's definitely got his eye on something more.

I loved watching these two tiptoe around their instant chemistry and trying so hard. And who knew it would be a family of skunks to finally bring these two together. You can only fight attraction for so long.

Sooo many funny moments in this one, not only with their banter but the ever so witty Mrs. C and we can't forget the bird that you should never let around your kids. This was just the romcom that I needed and I was hooked the entire time. Add The Right Stud to your summer reads and prepare to laugh your a** off!
