Marriage for One has been on my TBR since I started seeing it on everyone's feed. It was a top favorite, but I just needed a break in my busy schedule. At last the moment came and I was finally able to dive into this one. Sadly, it didn't quite hit the mark for me, but there were many moments that I simply adored.

I struggled with getting through the book, I was also going a stressful move, so I don't that helped matters all. It took me a lot longer than I anticipated to finish this and sometimes it definitely felt like things were really dragging.

However, I really do love slow burns, I'm just a fan of the slow build of tension between the characters. I think it was around the middle, where things started to pick up between them. Jack was becoming more present in her life. I loved his grumpy bear moments.

But I gotta say, once we learn the conflict, it didn't seem like it was a strong enough reason. And everything surrounding why and how the marriage started, wasn't really here for it.

I'm a little bummed out that book didn't work for me, I'm definitely go to give her other books a try. I've heard a lot of great things!
