The Earl’s Christmas Colt is the perfect read for a cold winter’s day. The story is well paced, sweet, and really heart warming.

I really enjoy historical romance so I thought this would be a quick enjoyable read, and I was right. Our main character is Lady Arabella Sutton, a independent young woman with a incredible passion for horses. She’s not a meek woman and despite the short amount of time I got to spend getting to know her I really liked her. The Earl of Marsdale, Oliver, was also really enjoyable and despite his bit of bumbling I really enjoyed how earnest he was. I rarely read historicals where the love interest has a title and a sense of humility, so this was a really nice change of pace.

A short book requires a short review, or I run the risk of spoiling the sweetness of the story. If you like stories that leave you feeling happy and warm, then The Earl’s Christmas Colt just might be for you. This is my first Entangled Flirt story and I’m really looking forward to reading even more books from their line.
