Broken Toys is engaging thriller about human trafficking featuring Texas Ranger Noah Morgan. Glenda Thompson really gets the balance right here, giving the reader an engaging story full of intrigue, action, and believable characters. Our hero is flawed and has a secret or two but he gets the job done at the end of the day, and isn't that what we want in a protagonist? The narrative and dialogue are convincing; unsurprisingly so when you learn the author calls Texas home and is familiar with the workings of law enforcement in the state. Broken toys but a solid book!
