I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy from the Author. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Dear Future Self by Lisa Becker is a great short read for those busy days where you need to unwind with a steamy novella.

Will Jase change his playboy ways to be with Cami?

Jase

Jase was the frontman for King's Quarters and know he is a solo act. Just he isn't feeling it like he used to. After getting news about his old English teacher dying and that he was named in the will. Jase goes back home to find out what the teacher left him. Not only that, but to maybe finally get the girl of his dreams that is really in his past.

What I like about Jase is that he is a hothead at times, but that is just an act. He is a sweet guy when he isn't acting like a rock star. Jase used to be, and kind of still is a geeky kid that was in the church choir and choir in school.

Cami

Cami knew Jase when he was a little kid up until he changed in their sophomore year of high school, and he shut her out of his life. That hurt her, and she grew up as well. Cami is now a high school music teacher and lost a lot in a short amount of time. Although she is gaining a lot more as well.

What I like about Cami is that she fights for what she wants until she doesn't have any fight left. She also doesn't put up with Jase's problems either.
Five Stars for Dear Future Self by Lisa Becker

Ms. Becker wrote another great book. In this one, we follow Jase and him finding someone that he wants to be his forever girl. He has a lot to prove to her and to figure out somethings about himself while honoring his old high school English teacher's wishes. It is wonderfully written, and I can't wait for more from Ms. Becker.

I am rating it five stars and recommend it to adult readers only.
