I wish I could say that I love this book, simply because as I'm from the Maritimes, I feel like I should. Sadly, that's not the case. I found the novel hard to follow like this was a novice attempt at trying to write a crime novel, and all the pieces didn't fall into place. I understand where the author was coming from in trying to create a book that had a crime/mystery aspect to it while still keeping to the M/M genre. The way she approached it fell flat for me. I have the second novel in this series, and I feel I won't be picking it up any time soon. I'm sorry!
