The Escorts
5 primary works
Book 1
I’m not the kind of escort you think I am. I have a strict set of rules:
1. No feelings.
2. No kissing.
3. And definitely, absolutely no bangin’.
The guys and I opened Beautiful Entourage five years ago. It started out as a side hustle to make some extra cash, but then it turned into a serious gig when clients agreed to our premium pricing. It’s a job like any other, do the work and go home.
But when I meet my brand-new client, everything gets a little complicated. Her name is Aspen and…she’s bangin’. A woman like that doesn’t need to hire a guy to pretend to be her man. Any single guy would do it for free. But she’s not trying to make an ex jealous or a potential boyfriend to notice her. She’s trying to get a job.
Her father owns a huge company in NYC, and after her very public breakup with her ex-fiancé, she needs to do some damage control. My job is to make her look good, to make her look more than competent in her personal life as well as her professional life. I live up to my promise and play the part…but quickly realize I’m not pretending anymore.
I’ve never broken one of my rules—but I’m about to break them all for her.
Book 2
I would never hire an escort in a million years…but I’m that desperate.
My younger sister just got engaged, and while I’m happy for her and her fiancé, it’s made my life a living hell because my mother is so disappointed in me. She interrogates me about my personal life every time she sees and asks the horrible question I don’t want to answer. “Do you have a man in your life yet?” Nope—not even close.
My best friend Aspen found the love of her life when she hired an escort, so she encourages me to do the same. That’s how I meet Troy—a gorgeous six-foot-something beautiful-as-a-God man. I hire him to be my date for my parents wedding anniversary and it’s so nice to show up to something with eye candy on my arm.
He plays the part well because he’s a pro, so well that I forget it’s all an act sometimes. These events used to be unbearable but Troy manages to make them…fun? I’ve never been able to be myself around anyone, to tell them how I really feel, and Troy has become more than my escort…a lot more.
He told he had a strict set of rules when I hired him, no feelings, no kissing, and no nasty-nasty. He doesn’t violate them with any client because it makes the business complicated. But now I want to tell him how I feel, that I want to break all those rules and make him mine.
Book 3
We hooked up on New Year’s Eve two years ago—but she doesn’t remember me.
I spotted her in the crowd in NYC on that cold night and she told me her New Year’s Resolution was to try every flavor of Oreos. I was hooked on the spot—and then I kissed her at midnight. We hit up a convenience store to grab every kind of cookie they offered, and then we ended the night at my place. I’m usually the type of guy to sneak out before the girl wakes up in the morning—but not this time.
When I wake up in the morning, the sheets are cold and she’s gone. All she leaves me is a short note and doesn’t even sign her name. There’s no phone number either. I was nothing but a hookup to her, and now I understand how it feels to be on the other end of that deal.
But then I get a new client at Beautiful Entourage two years later—and it’s her. The Oreo-loving woman from New Year’s Eve. She steps into my office and tells me she needs a date for a wedding—and has no idea who I am.
I agree to her proposal—and have no intention of sticking to any rules.
Book 4
My next client isn’t a woman—but a dude.
I don’t discriminate when I accept clients. If a guy wants me to pretend to be their boyfriend, that’s fine by me. I’ve done it before and I’ll do it again. If anything, it makes the job easier, because following the rules is a piece of cake.
He hires me to make his ex eat his heart out, but we’re supposed to put on a show for his entire family too. That wouldn’t be a problem…if his sister wasn’t the finest woman I’ve ever seen. She thinks I’m gay, so she opens her heart to me, treats me like a best friend, not realizing how hard she’s making me fall because she’s the coolest chick ever.
Then I find out something that makes it a million times worse…she thinks I’m hot. And even worse…she wishes I were straight.
I can never tell her the truth, not because I care about losing my job, but because I would betray her brother’s trust…and that’s something I just can’t do.
