Book 1

Folded Earth

by Tracy Eire

Published 30 November 2019

Find the elf King or burn....

It's a pity he's only a legend. Right?

Ora has been a nomadic warrior and 'messenger-man' in the High North all her life.

But she’s honour bound to settle in a foreign town with a very different culture. There, not a soul believes in warrior women, their leadership or authority.

Yet when the fires start -- burning unchecked -- and assassins hunt in the halls of the Council, she’s among the first to act. Ora stops a killer and is soon drafted by the Master of Boats to deliver a critical message into the North.

To… a recipient who is a legend? And a people who are a myth?

Real lives are on the line.

So, Ora crosses through Warped lands and twisted monsters to make sure the message is delivered.

On the dark shores of a misted fjord, Ora must face the fears of a town desperate enough to send a message to a mythical race and a monarch out of storybooks.

However, by the time she arrives her heart is racing. Her disbelief, wavering.

If these legends don't exist, who made the structures that marked her way? The glorious archways. The wonderous groves. And a mechanism that allows ships to sail uphill?

What will befall the town when calamities spark like magic, and officials abandon their posts on pain of death?

Who are these Strangers, and the legend known only as the Lock-Maker King?

You'll love this Fantasy 'first contact' series, because Ora is a warrior for underdogs!

Book 2

Twisted Cord

by Tracy Eire

Published 19 April 2020

She lost him with a word.

The King's magic vanished in the mist.

Ora tumbles back into the life of a settled townswoman. Whatever her feelings, the snow is finally melting... and crime is booming.

She turns her eyes to the mountains and spots smoke rising from the Blue Vaults: the home of the elves known as Fates.

The Fates are true Strangers to mankind, and none are more perilous than the King. Would criminals dare strike at them? And are those sometime allies of mankind, well?

When Ora is hired into the Master of Boat's caravan headed North toward the smoke, the King reports something dark moving through the land. Ora has felt it too -- not only in the King's Halls, but in the distant North where she had a brush with death.

It left its mark.

But is it coming for her?

Yet why attack a Northern courier and Outrider Chief?

But, more and more, her voice shuts down and she struggles to breathe.

Soon Ora can feel her life spinning out of her control... and into someone else's.

You'll love this Fantasy 'first contact' series, because Ora's struggle with a darkness bent on stealing her voice is scarily familiar. And the Fates believe turnabout is fair play.

Book 3

Tempered Fire

by Tracy Eire

Published 5 March 2022

Ora wants no part of it.

But once the Fates know a thing, it is known for all time.

Still, the Lock-Maker King and Lord Eldeghel speak of a new destiny that involves her. However, for Ora becoming a warrioress and Scinan Chief has long been enough of an achievement.

When she withdraws to the solace of the wild, that’s where the first arrow falls.

She’s spared when a Fate sacrifices himself in her place, and it’s in her scramble to save him that Ora first marks her would-be assassin. As the people of Bridges feel the pressure of assaults on the Kingdom, matters get worse. A Londh Baron arrives equip with 300 Morgwn Knights, and he’s come to seize control of Bridges Township.

The Council greets this Baron like a King, but there's much he doesn't know.

Where is the Morgwn Master of the Town?

Why do citizens make pilgrimage and offerings to a great tree?

What is behind these strange flags that flutter on high?

And when he finds out the truth, well, 300 Knights would be enough to crush most any Morgwn town in the North.

While the Council lies and persuades, arrows fall, poison flows, and the evidence points to once war-torn mountains sealed by Fata treaty, long ago. A treacherous land is waking up again....

You'll love this Fantasy 'first contact' series, because the intrigues are thick and delicious, secrets begin to unravel, and -- in the end -- a woman must be what she is.
