Book 1

In a remote corner of the realm, young logger Baard Thon dreams of a life of adventure but fears he might never get the chance to leave his village.
Then the enemy storms the village and thrusts him into an epic quest to save everyone and everything he loves.
He is no mage; he is no blademaster. But since he escaped the curse, he must battle the curser.
The only weapon to kill a Wrathlord might be forever lost in the land of monsters. If he can’t survive long enough to find it, Baard will disappear into an eternal fog. And emerge as one of … them.
Book 2
Foes will unite; allies will clash. The earth will heave in chaos.
Baard Thon has accomplished something that everyone deemed impossible. He has destroyed one of the three Wrathlords who have scourged Thorstorm for centuries. By doing so, Baard has broken a curse—and made terrible enemies.
The insane king is furious at Baard’s hero status. Religious fanatics want to murder Baard for defying a doctrine. And the two remaining Wrathlords are mustering their Corpsentinels to punish the death of their kin.
Baard cannot face the enemy without his Wrathblade. The sword has snapped, though, and neither the mages nor the Firelves know how to mend it.
As the net tightens, a mysterious woman suggests a staggering solution. The scheme could solve some of his problems. Or kill him and his closest friends.
Book 3
Magic has failed. So has steel. Only a daring ruse can turn the tide of war.
Baard Thon has undergone more dangers in a few months than a hundred warriors in their lifetimes. And as he faces an overpowering Wrathlord army, his trials are far from over.
After losing the first battle, only an insane plan offers a glimmer of hope. If it fails, the monsters will roll over the decimated human and Firelven troops and march onto the capital to destroy, kill, and gorge themselves on human flesh. If the scheme works, though, Baard might yet get a chance to pursue his dream: to destroy the realm’s Wrathlords, ride his dragon to the mystery-shadowed Aganopean Empire, and learn silver-level magic from the Archmage.
The plan is so fraught with peril that Baard ponders scraping it. Besides, his keen instincts warn him that a disaster awaits him regardless of the war’s outcome.
