Seasons of Strife
4 primary works
Book 1
Frea One-Shot thinks no harm can ever come to Oxspire, home of the Celtic elves in Ireland.
The elven archer is wrong. Dead wrong.
Between Vikings, including Ubba Ragnarsson and Ivar the Boneless, and the dwarves, the elves must fight to prevent their entire kingdom from falling.
Book 2
The Norse Vikings have left Oxspire before the winter, so all should be well, but that is not the case.
Despite a growing connection to Ubba, Frea must deal with the Viking sailing away to avenge his father’s death.
No matter. Frea has her own vengeance to deal with after Danish Vikings come and threaten to leave her realm ruined.
Book 3
Spring should be a time of rebirth, and years have passed since Frea first met Ubba and he left to have his revenge.
But this peace is faux.
Both the Norse and the Danish Vikings have returned to the elven land with a single aim—to destroy the elven domain.
Book 4
Oxspire has fallen as summer arrives, and the elves have little hope of surviving against the Viking invaders.
Because the Vikings aren’t merely raiders. Aye, they’re seasoned warriors, to be sure, but they also aren’t exactly human.
They’re berserkers, just as the great Ragnar Lodbrok had been.
The only hope the elves have to survive against the Viking hordes is if they can make peace with their long-time enemy, the dwarves.
Perhaps the elves empire will never be reforged.
Mayhap a new empire will be born.
Whichever the case, Frea will fight until her dying breath, even if she must fight against the one Viking who may have claimed her heart years ago.
