Fatalla Sayeghir was the assistant to a Napoleonic spy, de Lascaris, who undertook an extended mission amongst the Arab peoples. After the death of Napoleon, Sayeghir wrote an account of their travels. This is a facsimile edition of the translation by de Lamartine.
