Frames blossoming with flowers all along the sides. A wall sconce with a delicate cherub. Pencil holders with charming Victorian circus prints. Decoupage is an easy, creative, and inexpensive way to turn anything beautiful. With layers of paper and glue, add patterns, colors, and even scenic designs to trays, brushes, boxes, jewelry, lamps, furniture, and other household items. Each of the nearly 40 projects is graded according to difficulty: so beginners can start off on a cardboard letter rack adorned with a leopard; a gypsy-style jug; and a child's chair; and move on to initialized napkin rings; a butterfly-and-leaf-covered lamp shade and base; an Oriental-style box; and a blanket box with a tulip design. Perfect for gifts-- or just to show off at home!
