This resource provides simple ways to produce imaginative assemblies. It includes suggestions for planning and presenting assemblies and how to make use of the resources around you - the local community, sound and music, children's own creativity - to develop material for assemblies. It also provides 16 ready-to-use assemblies including photocopiable sheets of any material needed - a poem, reading or songsheets - for handing out to children. There is also plenty of advice and support for teachers including a list of available resources, suggested preparation times and how to use sections of the assemblies if time is short.
