"Sikhism" is part of a series of six texts for GCSE covering major world religions. Each text is written by a practising member of that particular religion, in order that it can be clearly presented as a living faith. At the same time, the accounts are unbiased and uncritical of other religions. Sikhism is one of the youngest of the world's religions, but although numerically small it is very well-known throughout the world. Over 80% of Sikhs still live in the north Indian state of the Punjab, and outside India the largest Sikh population is to be found in Britain. This book fully investigates and explains the religion, and includes suggestions for exercises, activities and projects.
