Roly Poly, Inchworm, Dragonfly, and Beetle all feel bored one sleepy afternoon, until Roly suggests they go to the wishing well to wish for something to do.
Roly finds Inch hiding in a hole to avoid a bird, but as she and other creatures dive into the same hole to be safe, the hiding place becomes more and more dangerous.
Roly and her friends try to identify an object she finds in the grass, but from their different perspectives it could be a tunnel, a hill, or even a snake.
