Oxford successful economic and management sciences is an exciting new course developed for the Revised National Curriculum Statement. The course aims to develop the basic skills and knowledge which learners will need to manage their lives and their environment effectively. Learner's are encouraged to develop basic entrepreneurship, financial management and planning skills, using a variety of strategies such as collecting data, observing, recording and problem solving. Features include covering all learning outcomes for the learning area - each chapter covers a specific learning outcome: the economic cycle; sustainable growth and development; managerial, consumer and financial knowledge and skills; entrepreneurial knowledge and skills. The learner's books cover, in-depth, each assessment standard, in a series of units of work and present a wide variety of case studies for learners to work with.
