This student introduction to the themes of death and the afterlife in Christian theology is divided into two main sections: the first draws out the characteristics of the biblical understanding of death and afterlife; and the second poses questions relating to current issues in eschatology. The book also deals with practical issues which relate to death and afterlife, and how these issues challenge contemporary Christian thought and theology.
