"Primary French" is designed to enable primary schools to introduce French to their pupils in a low-cost, proven course. Developed over a two-year period in over 100 UK schools, the course provides a flexible scheme which suppports teaching and learning French in a fun and positive way. The course contains a stimulating range of pupil's materials, including games, songs, quizzes, role plays much more, all designed to make children's first experience of learning a foreign language enjoyable. The course is designed to be both realisitic and flexible, taking account of limited time in the classroom and provides full support for non-specialist teachers; the ability to speak French is not even necessary. Also included is complete, practical advice for the delivery of French in the primary classroom. The course is designed to provide continuity from primary to secondary level.
