A stranger called Jed starts drinking with Nell, then Bunny wakes up and things start getting dangerous ...Charlotte Armstrong was an American author who received the prestigious Edgar Allen Poe Award and died in 1969. Mischief was turned into a film called 'Don't Bother to Knock' with Marilyn Monroe, Ann Bancroft and Richard Widmark.
