The Diamond Deuce is a small Texas ranch that is growing. It is the realization of Kelly Boyle's dream, and Kelly's half-brother, Carl, has made a pact with him that neither will marry until the ranch is on a firm footing. Luanne Ransom, Kelly's intended, is not happy about the wait, and her father, Major Terrence Ransom, would rather own the Diamond Duece himself and use Kelly to run illegal firearms across the border to a Mexican revolutionary. Then Carl complicates matters by bringing home a woman he claims is his wife.
