Designing Intelligent Electronic Toys Using Flash Microcontrollers
by Yoshiyasu Takefuji, Kiyoshi Eto, Atom Hidaka, and Koichiro Shoji
Published 30 December 2002
This work is intended for practitioners as well as readers who are interested in designing, developing and building intelligent electronic gadgets or ubiquitous toys using Flash microcontrollers. Two main types of microcontrollers are introduced: ATMEL and CYGNAL microcontrollers. A variety of applications using networking devices, sensors, and actuators with microcontrollers are detailed via many circuit diagrams and software source programs. This introductory volume can be used as a text or reference in high schools or universities for building embedded ubiquitous or wearable computers.
