Offering information on a variety of topics in economics including market structure, national income and investment, the author also provides advice on exam and essay writing techniques. This edition has been revised and updated, the coverage of economic theory has been expanded with the addition of five new chapters. As with the previous edition, the author has made extensive use of real world examples to illustrate the relevance and importance of theory. Revision exercises, complete with answers are included in the text as an aid to revision and self-study. The book is aimed at students studying economics at A level or as part of a first year course of a business or combined social science degree. It is considered to be particularly suitable for students on a wide range of professional courses in banking, accountancy and marketing.
