Dragons

With 32 regiments in 1914, the dragoons were numerically the most important branch of the French cavalry. This new book in the series features the history of every single regiment with their insignia, whereas the uniforms, equipment and harness are dealt within the sharpest detail, under the form of the usual synoptic color plates, plus a tremendous series of colored photographs of reenactment (with original uniforms) and collectibles, and hundreds of period shots.

This volume deals only with the mounted dragoons, up to 1942, while the motorized dragoons will be the subject of a subsequent volume.
