This fully illustrated exhibition catalogue surveys the strength and range of British art from 1789 to 1918, while charting changes and developments in society during the period. The exhibition contains almost 200 watercolours and drawings, including book illustrations and cartoons, plus oils and photographs. Many of the most significant artists of the age are represented.
