Diagnostic Biosensor Polymers
Published 5 May 1994
This volume was developed from a symposium sponsored by the Division of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Inc, at the 205th National Meeting of the American Chemical Society held in Denver, Colorado, March 28-April 2, 1993. Reviewing the latest advances in redox/conductive polymers and membranes, this book describes new redox polymers useful in miniaturizing biosensors, and examines polymers for optical biosensors. It investigates interesting membranes to enhance the performance of biosensors, features biocompatible polymers useful in implantable sensors, and includes discussions on enzyme immobilization and methods to increase enzyme stability. The book also describes the chemistry and technology of dry chemistries.
