Painters begin with a review of techniques, material and paint selection. Special effects, including sponging, stippling, blending and outlining, are presented as options for the 12 step-by-step projects that follow. Painters will be able to combine techniques and experiment with paints to produce intricately designed vases, etched picture frames, handpainted jugs and glasses, frosted window or door panels. Painters will be inspired to see how gilding and embedding beads transform household accents and personal gifts.
