This addition to the "Inspirations" series is designed to help clarify the 1988 Education Reform Act with regard to its requirements for collective worship. The book is also designed to provide a host of practical ideas for assemblies that satisfy these requirements as well as recognizing the multi-cultural nature of many school communities and the need to approach delivery of the curriculum in a cross-curricular way. Ideas for assemblies are linked to popular topics in the major curricular areas and are offered for a wide range of groupings - from small groups to whole schools. When preparation time is not available, the book also offers handy "off-the-shelf" assemblies and a useful anthology of prayers.
