This volume focuses on the very wide range of prototypes, experimental cars and other behind-the-scenes projects launched under the MG banner from the immediate post-war years to the present. It reveals the birthpangs of the MGB, the MG TR7 proposal, the MG "EX-E" concept car of 1985, and the various sports car projects which led ultimately to the limited edition MG RV8 (1992) and beyond. David Knowles is the author of "MG V8: Twenty-One Years On".
