This book will open up the curriculum to pupils with visual impairments by providing teachers with practical guidance on how to modify materials for teaching and assessment. Each book consists of three parts: general teaching and assessment - includes advice on policies, physical and social learning environments, classrooms techniques and assessment styles; subject-specific advice - practical strategies based on good classroom practice, practical, time-saving strategies and templates; and, examples, further reading, glossary, templates and case studies. An accompanying CD holds the entire book as well as extra templates and worksheets.
