It encourages children to imagine themselves as either Saxon or Norman soldiers taking part in the Battle of Hastings and what it might have felt like; and also to imagine life in the abbey as either a novice monk or abbot. The wallchart shows how to make your own stained-glass window, and a chainmail tunic and helmet.
