The new Training and Management series will help to support practitioners through the many changes that have come into place over recent years. These include the new OFSTED inspections, National Care Standards and the SEN Code of Practice. The books will provide practical guidance and information on running a group effectively and providing appropriate training for staff. This book will be an invaluable tool for all candidates taking an S/NVQ in Early Years Care and Education at Level 2. It is aimed at staff working in a wide range of settings with children aged nought to eight. It provides a straightforward practical guide to all the compulsory core units of the S/NVQ qualification, covering areas such as children's physical needs and working with parents. Five optional units are also covered. For each unit there are pratical activity ideas, case studies, questions, tips and helpful information.
