Felicio, a young inventor, attempts to create the perfect present for his father's birthday, hoping that it will make his very serious father laugh.
Felicio's father does not believe in the Tooth Fairy, the Sandman, or Santa Claus, but after a few mishaps such as losing a molar, and with his son's help, he quickly changes his mind.
Felicio tries to help his father, a clown, win the love of Sophia the acrobat.
