Random Stranger is an Abstract, an idea made flesh, and an unknown adversary is out to kill him and his friends. Have you ever had car trouble and received aid from a random stranger? Or awakened after a particularly hard night of drinking to ask yourself who that random stranger is next to you? Wonder no longer, for this is the story of Randy Stranger, who's always around to add an unpredictable element to each of your personal stories. Whenever the unexpected happens, there's Randy, whether he wants to be or not. Randy and his crew have been formed from ideas that had collected and been shared across the human consciousness. Together with hi s best friend, Lucky Bastard, and his ex, the shotgun toting Karma, they find themselves suddenly the target of a long planned assassination. Random Stranger has done his best to forget the Grimm Fairy Tale book that he filled with all of his power and had done a pretty good job of it when it gets thrust back into his life. The Random Tome has started causing insanity in Abstracts and has even shut down the Library, the only Abstract destination, and the means through which Abstracts travel across the world. Now, with his girlfriend Karma and the black-mailer Mr. Know It All, Randy is on a mission to get the Random Tome back and drain it of its power before...well...anything happens. Hot on his tail are the most powerful Abstracts that have ever lived, mistakenly thinking that Randy is the source of all the turmoil. The clock is ticking and things are spinning out of control; just how Randy likes it.
