Book 1
When a master vampire starts killing people in his hometown, paranormal investigator, Tempest Michaels, takes it personally …
… and soon a race against time turns into a battle for his life. He doesn’t believe in the paranormal but has a steady stream of clients with cases too weird for the police to bother with.
Mostly it’s all nonsense, but when a third victim turns up with bite marks in her lifeless throat, can he really dismiss the possibility that this time the monster is real?
Joined by an ex-army buddy, a disillusioned cop, his friends from the pub, his dogs, and his mother (why are there no grandchildren, Tempest), our paranormal investigator is going to stop the murders if it kills him …
… but when his probing draws the creature’s attention, his family and friends become the hunted.
Book 2
I just took a case from the tearful, but very rich, widow Barker, whose husband supposedly died at the hands of a century-old phantom. He was the owner of Barker steel mill and it doesn’t take me long to realise that something very weird is going on there.
That’s not all though, a spectral dog has eaten a bloke at a junkyard and I’m supposed to work out how to get him back.
Everyone is lying to me about everything but my toughest test is dealing with the aftermath of my stupid decision to hire Amanda Harper. Not that she isn’t talented, intelligent, and capable, because she is. She is also drop-dead gorgeous and massively distracting.
She’ll prove to be an asset no doubt, assuming we live through the week that is.
The paranormal? It’s all nonsense, but proving it might just get me killed.
Book 3
My name is Amanda Harper and I am a paranormal detective with the Blue Moon Investigation Agency. As of today, that is, and my first case is at the local shopping mall where terrified shoppers hysterically claim a ghost attacked them in the elevators. Not just one elevator – all of them.
Sounds like an easy enough case, right? That’s what I told myself, but nothing in life prepared me for the bedlam I’m about to face.
Despite the craziness, the chases, and the unexpected fighting, I need to solve this thing to justify my employment. Unfortunately, I have no idea what I am doing, I’m still working my notice period in the police, and I have a date tonight. I’ll find the ghost, be sure of it, but why, oh why, did I invite sassy BFF Patience Woods to help out.
Get ready for snark-fuelled fun as Amanda Harper goes ghostbusting!
Book 5
Tempest, oblivious to the events in Cawsand and believing he was overdue a week off, has travelled to Cornwall with his dogs for some relaxation and perhaps a cream tea or two.
Well, fat chance of that because he is hip-deep in murderous ghosts before he finishes his second pint.
Uncovering a disturbing undercurrent in the sleepy seaside village, a race against time begins for him to crack the case before anyone else gets hurt? Together with the local police officer, the diminutive, sexy and very domineering Bobbi the Bobby plus some other helping hands he could probably do without, he will do all he can to reveal the truth.
The locals believe the ghosts are real though and the village is filling up with treasure hunters after the gold and ghost hunters seeking infamy.
Are there people trying to sabotage his efforts? Is he in danger? Just what is the truth behind the mystery and was there ever a treasure to find?
He has the odds stacked against him like never before, he has no idea who to trust and the Dachshunds want their dinner.
And, oh yeah, it’s Halloween.
Book 6
Book 7
The client is the son of a man who was killed in a freak accident - struck by lightning.
That doesn't sound very paranormal until you learn that he was inside his house when it happened and his heart exploded from his chest. There are eldritch runes drawn on the victim’s house and his wife, together with several of her friends, has been seen colluding with a mysterious old crone.
Is there witchcraft being practiced in the nearby village of East Malling? The client certainly thinks so. Will Tempest be swift enough to solve the case before anyone else is killed? Will Frank’s witch-sniffer toad sniff out the witch? Will Tempest’s gender-neutral assistant turn up dressed as a boy or a girl?
You can bet there will be bedlam as Tempest and his trusted sausage dogs find themselves pitted against another potentially deadly foe.
Book 8
Of course not, because there is no such thing! But, when a farmer hires paranormal investigator Amanda Harper to look into his glowing milk, she doesn’t sense how crazy things are about to get, and before she can even start investigating, a frozen body is found and the conspiracy theory nutters arrive to argue about the inner workings of an alien freeze ray.
Leading the bunch is none other than Jack Hammer, the handsome, self-proclaimed star of the internet show Alien Quest. He wants Amanda as a co-host to boost his ratings and won’t take no for an answer.
But Amanda has other problems, not least of which is her estranged Uncle Knobhead arriving unexpectedly to offer his assistance – he was kidnapped by aliens, you know.
Amanda is going all out to solve this case, so let’s just hope the help she gets from Patience Woods, her sassy police officer best friend, doesn’t slow her down too much.
Crop circles, doped cows, spacecraft sightings, and a mysterious government agency trained to repel alien invasions all combine to give Amanda Harper her toughest test yet in this hilarious urban mystery thriller.
Book 9
Tempest Michaels is going undercover with best friend Big Ben to find out why his Dad was found unconscious and stuffed into a wheelie bin. There is no client this time, just a definite need to find someone worthy of a jolly good punch in the pants.
With strange noises coming through the floor of the rigging room and reports of ghosts seen at night wearing the uniform of 18th Century Royal Navy Officers, the chaps set out to unravel the mystery, but is there more going on than a simple fake haunting? Also, what do the old Navy boys mean by their offer of help? And why are so many of the employees Ukrainian?
It's going to take more than a determined approach and Big Ben's top chat-up lines to get through this one. Plus, it's Jagjit's wedding next weekend which means a Batchelor party in four days' time.
Will he survive the anti-Army banter of the old Navy boys? Will Big Ben copulate with every single woman on the night-shift cleaning crew?
Join them as we find out just what is causing the Whispers in the Rigging
Book 10
'Supernatural overtones with a hint of sexual tension, interspersed with humor make this a fantastic series.' - Amazon customer.
When he is called to investigate a Yeti attack in the French Alps, Tempest Michaels is certain it will just be another fool in a costume - He's going to solve the case in five minutes and spend a few days skiing. Yay!
Guess again. The mountain, the locals, and above all, the Yeti, have other plans in mind. With the Dachshunds doing their best to avoid the cold and Big Ben distracted by the abundant snow bunnies on offer, Tempest is in for a tougher test than he expected.
Book 11
When a newspaper ad typo sends all manner of daft paranormal enquiries his way, P.I. Tempest Michaels has no sense of the trouble and danger heading his way. In no time at all, he has multiple cases to investigate, but it's all ridiculous nonsense like minor celebrity Richard Claythorn, who believes he is being stalked by a werewolf and a shopkeeper in a nearby village with an invisible thief.
Solving these cases might be fun if his demanding mother (Why are there no grandchildren, Tempest?) didn't insist on going with him, but the simple case of celebrity stalking might not be all it seems when he catches a man lurking behind the client's property just in time to see him step into the moonlight and begin to transform.
All he wanted was a nice easy job where he got to be his own boss and could take his trusty Dachshunds to work. How much trouble can a typo cause?
The paranormal? It's all nonsense, but proving it might get him killed.
Book 12
What the heck did I get myself into? My name's Jane Butterworth. For me, the paranormal is just a day job. I work at the Blue Moon Investigation Agency, a firm that specialises in cases that no one else will take, cases that start at strange and unexplainable and tier rapidly south from there.
My boss, Tempest Michaels, is away dealing with a Yeti in France, but the enquiries keep coming so when Chief Inspector Quinn of the local police wants to hire the firm as special consultants, I sign us up and take it on myself.
But a swamp monster?
Really?
Bodies of dead cops have been showing up in nearby Biddenden Lake, the site of an unexplained death three years ago. Is there a link between that death and these? The whole area is steeped in ancient history, ghost stories are two-a-penny here but am I really cut out to be a detective?
Time to put my big girl pants on. Crossdressing isn’t always glamourous.
Book 13
To protect himself, Lord Hale has invited paranormal investigation experts Tempest Michaels and Amanda Harper plus their friends and a whole host of other guests from different fields of supernatural exploration for a birthday dinner at his mansion.
As they sit down for dinner, the lights start to dim and a moaning noise disturbs the polite conversation. Has Lord Hale placed his faith in the right people, or just led them to share his doom?
Finding themselves trapped, Tempest and Amanda, with friends Big Ben and Patience must join forces with a wizard, some scientists, and occult experts, ghost chasers, witches, and other assorted idiots as they fight to make it through the night in one piece.
Could this be their final adventure?
Will Tempest finally be proven wrong about the paranormal?
Book 14
When two bikers are found half-eaten, the coroner's report records an animal attack. But England doesn't have any large predators ...
... unless you count werewolves.
Tempest Michaels, paranormal detective, gets hired by the dead bikers' gang to find out what happened and point the finger at a new rival motorcycle club in the next town. Calling themselves the Herne Bay Howlers, they proudly display a werewolf on their jackets and they are far from your average Hell's Angels.
But Tempest doesn't believe in the paranormal, and werewolves are right up there on his list of fake nonsense he wants to kick in the nuts. He goes in fully charged and ready, with former army mate and force of nature, Big Ben, at his side.
However, this mystery is nothing like the simple case he expected and when Amanda Harper, his business partner/girlfriend, demands he drop it, he'll have to put everything on the line to find the truth.
Is he right? Are they just idiots in good costumes, or is he about to bite off something that will chew him? The stakes are always high, but when the chips come down, do the guys have what it takes to see this one through?
Don't miss your chance to find out because everyone loves a snark-fuelled action fest.
The paranormal? It's all nonsense, but proving it might just get them all killed.

But when the chips are down, does he have what it takes to come up with a cool line at the right time? Or is he just another pensioner trying to do more than his old bones will allow?
The paranormal? It's all nonsense, but proving it might just get them all killed.
Book 17
Jane is missing. Taken by a serial killer known only as the Sandman, Tempest and friends must unravel the clues to find her before night falls.
Why so soon? Because that is when he kills his victims, bringing them dreams as he sings them to sleep, just like in the song.
The police won't even acknowledge the serial killer exists which leaves them on their own, sifting through Jane's notes and piecing together fractured clues and half-baked theories in a desperate scramble to find the man at the core of this mystery.
However, the Sandman wants to be found. Jane's investigation was getting too close, so he is using her to draw in the whole Blue Moon team. He has a game for them to play and the dice are loaded in his favour.
In their deadliest adventure yet, Tempest and friends must race against the clock to save their missing team member. Can they win? Do they even understand the rules of the game?
Get ready to feel your pulse race as our heroes grit their teeth and face the dark one more time.
Book 18
... there's a monster roaming the prison's passageways at night and it's just taken a life.

Surrounded by inmates who want to kill him, facing a creature that cannot be killed because it isn't alive, and worried the very guards employed to protect him might be the ones behind it all, Tempest Michaels faces his toughest challenge yet. Worse yet, he's all alone.

Book 19
Every creature fears it.
Except one.
When a call late one evening leads Jane to Buckingham Palace, she holds no concern the dragon they want her to investigate is real.
Until she gets there, that is.
Book 20
... instead, he discovers a body and a horrified staff.
Recent earthworks exposed something ancient, twisted, and above all evil. It has claimed one life already and the staff are terrified for who might be next.
No one saw what it was though, just a glimpse of a shadow.
Why does it want to keep people away from the area? Will it claim more bodies as the mine's owners believe? Or can Tempest unravel the mystery behind the shadow before it can strike again?
One thing is for sure, this is like nothing he's ever faced before, and just maybe this time, the creature is real.
The paranormal? It's all nonsense, but proving might just get him killed.
Book 21
The big problem with that? He died a year ago.
In suspicious circumstances.
There were rumours of murder, but no arrests followed the original investigation. Now the victims are those who were closest to him, and it looks like the author has come back from the dead to exact his revenge.
Hired by the author's wife, who fears she may be next, Amanda and Tempest head to London for a case that will challenge the premise on which their business is built: that the supernatural does not exist.
You're going to want to sleep with the light on.
The paranormal? It's all nonsense, but proving it might get them killed.
