Published February 1990
Windows 286 has been developed to run on AT-compatible computers based around the Intel 80286 microchip. Istead of entering commands from the keyboard, the operator uses a pointer and a mouse to select and run the programs. This book is a guide to both the basic and advanced features. Intended primarily for novices to the program, it covers all aspects, from the intial installation through to producing complex documents and formats. In addition it includes separate in-depth chapters about each of the associated programs, and finally it includes a brief look at some of the third party software which has been specially written for the Windows environment.
