Contains 29 exciting themes, linked to popular texts for KS2. The texts have been chosen to work well within the literacy hour and include fiction, non-fiction and poetry. The poems are reproduced and fully illustrated for use with the children. Each theme includes background information about the text, literacy activities, a display and further activities linked to art and design and design technology. Allows for a cross-curricular approach.
