Covering the four mandatory vocational units and the three mandatory core skills at intermediate level, this text has been designed to meet the needs of GNVQ students and tutors. This is the tutor's file. Clear introductory guidelines are presented at the front of the file which help the student plan and organize the workload. Advice is given on how to keep track of progress, matrices describe how core skills are covered by the assignments, and the creation and presentation of a Portfolio of Evidence is demonstrated. Each of the vocational units is presented independently, with core skill opportunities integrated. Each unit includes authentic case studies, extended assignments, tasks which reinforce understanding, and pointers to help guide the student towards independent research. Photocopiable sample tests are included for revision.
