Monica Bonvicini, born in Venice in 1965, lives and works in Berlin and Los Angeles. The focus of her artwork is on space, which she thinks is capable of conditioning human behaviour and so is responsible for preserving old roles and customs. Her aggressiveness and spirit of contradiction is reflected in this catalogue, which opens the series of "Sightings" dedicated to young artists.
