Heart to Heart

The theme Heart to Heart was first explored during Women at Waverley weekends at Waverley Abbey House. Written by Jeannette Barwick and Beverley Shepherd this book takes some of the discoveries made as they ministered together on those weekends and makes the teaching accessible to a wider audience through the written media. The theme is that of being loved in the way that only the Lord can love us - His love is personal, unconditional and eternal. We are shown how to open ourselves to His love, to delight in its richness and experience its security - to enter into a deeper, more intense and more real relationship with Him. This includes communicating with God, being prepared as His bride, as well as the times when we are led into the desert - how these times are to develop an intimacy with God, when we are forced to examine our faith and learn to trust in His love.
